The catalogue for the Vintage & Antique (Live & Online) sales, held on Wednesday and Thursday, will be available to view online the week before the sale.  

We are open for Viewing in person on the Tuesday before the sale 10am-5.30pm and on Sale days from 9am.  
Everyone is welcome to come along to view our sales.  No appointment necessary.

If you are unable to attend the saleroom to view in person to satisfy yourself regarding condition or wish to know more about a lot, we are happy to provide a condition report and additional images upon request.

The Timed (Online only) sale catalogue is available to view online from the Friday after the Live & Online sale for 10 days (with bidding closing on Sunday evening).   
Viewing for these sales is Monday to Friday during the sale period and by appointment only.


All lots are subject to a 21% Buyer's Premium plus VAT at the current level.

N.B. There is an additional premium of 5% + VAT to bid online.

You can bid in several ways:-

In person in the room

Leaving a Commission bid - you leave us the maximum price you are prepared to pay

Organising a Telephone bid - we ring you and relay your bids direct to the auctioneer 
We encourage you to place your Commission and Telephone bids as early as possible. Requests received on the morning of the sale will be considered but are not guaranteed to be placed.  Please call us or use the form below:

To register for any of the above, you will need to register with us first, providing your name, full contact details including postal address, telephone number and email, together with Credit or Debit card details to back your bidding.

Artists' Resale Rights

Please also note, some paintings and works of art may be subject to an additional charge of between 0.25% & 4% plus VAT for artists' resale rights (Droite de suite) for items sold over 1,000 Euros. These items will be marked (ARR) in the catalogue.


We prefer payment to be made prior to collection and preferably via Bank Transfer. We can also accept payment by Credit or Debit card (N.B. We do not accept Amex).  
Please note there is a limit for payments taken over the phone.
We no longer accept cheques.

If you are buying from overseas, please note we will require payment by 
BANK TRANSFER only and any associated fees will need to be paid by you and not deducted from our invoice.

Collection of Goods

Collection of goods should be made by close of business on the Tuesday after a sale to avoid storage charges (see below).

Space is a premium asset for the Auction Rooms and so we can continue to offer a professional service to all our customers we have to ensure that goods are collected in a timely manner. The storage charges per buyer are:
Up to 3 working days after the sale - FREE
4 to 5 working days after the sale - £50
6 to 7 working days after the sale - £100
After 7 days - £10 storage charge per lot, per day in addition to the charges outlined above

We offer a limited in-house Postage and Packing service (UK only).  

We can also recommend local packing services as well as carriers for larger items.
