The farmhouse is a fascinating period dwelling, constructed of Cotswold stone elevations under a pitched, Cotswold slate roof. The house contains a wealth of period features, including window seats in many of the rooms.
The gardens are mostly situated to the front and side of the house and comprise lawns and flower borders with a small terrace and a stone built garden store. Beyond these there is an attractive orchard containing apple and plum trees.
A stand of trees across Stancombe Lane (which contains the house septic tank) is included with this lot. A walled vegetable garden is accessed from the rear of the house.
