![]() Considering Christmas has just passed, toys were some of the star lots of the Antique & General Sale on the 19th January. Two boxes of assorted Tri-ang “TT” gauge railway accessories including coaches, track, engines etc sold for £300, a collection of Pellum puppets (see photo below), which included Skeleton, Mr Turnip, and Clown, brought a total of £265 and an early 20th century Armand Marseille bisque head doll made £65. Other toy lots that exceeded estimate were a boxed Mamod Steam Roller, a collection of modern Corgi models and a box of vintage Dinky toys.
Looking forward to the Sporting Sale on the 2nd February, we have a good mix of hunting, shooting and fishing items plus an interesting collection of large African animal heads in our taxidermy section (see photo below).
