With David Dickinson and the television crew in attendance there was a larger crowd than normal at the Friday 16th February antique and general sale. An erotic cold painted bronze of a Middle Eastern dancer by Franz Bergman was the top price of the day, realising £1,150. A late 19th Century French lacquered brass cased carriage clock decorated with birds and foliage in the Japanese aesthetic taste made £800, other notable results were the £680 paid for a brass and glass hexagonal shaped hall lantern, and a collection of corkscrews also sold well totalling over £300.

The first Selected antique sale of the year, to be held on the 2nd March, is set to be a highlight of the spring. Two large early 19th century Siena marble models of the Temples of Vespasian and Castor & Pollux, each approx 78 cm tall are included in a rare collection of 19th century marble artefacts. There is a also a good collection of furniture including a 19th Century painted mahogany breakfront bookcase, a George III style mahogany and green marble topped centre table as well as a good mix of oak and country furniture.
