Our 10th November Antiques & General Sale was another roaring success, being an unusual single owner collection of a local eccentric.  With no reserves every lot - ranging from boxes of books and miscellania to a 1954 TF MG 1250 cc and Mercedes 560 - was going to find a home.

As expected, the top lots were the two cars, the MG selling at nearly £10,000.  Other top lots included a circular specimen marble tableau centred with a twin handled urn selling at £780, a 19th century Thames Valley yew wood and elm stick back elbow chair (illustrated) at £700 and a 19th century mahogany and inlaid cased long case clock with dial inscribed "Ja.s Topham, Nantwich" at £620.
